You guys are a great help thanks. So I am sure on the gun now just trying to figure out camo colors. With gear I am either going to get the OE TECH Tan gear or the Pantacn Coyote Gear. Leaning toward tan gear cause I can find more stuff . Just let me know what color cloths toget to go with it I am down to buy what ever. Reason asking I read in game rules on here that gear had to match camo or you could not wear the gear so thats why I am asking.

Nowhere in the rules does it say that your gear has to match your camo...

In any case, Coyote Brown gear is always the way to go unless you are getting gear for one specific load out.

Oh ok thanks Dominum I was a reading this rule which made me think that.

Rule #9:  Your gear's predominant color must match your outfit's predominant color UNLESS you have headgear of some form and sleeves that go at least to your elbows that are the same as your outfits predominant color . If you do not meet these requirements and your gear has a different predominant color than your outfit, you will be required to strip your gear. Weapon colors and paintjobs have no bearing on faction affiliation.

I wasnt sure how that worked with the Tan or CB. So looks Like I am going to try and find all CB stuff now. I really want the Pantac 1000D Cordura Molle MPS Chest Rig (Coyote) but cant find it in stock anywhere. Anyway thanks guys looks like I have al the info I need to get the right stuff. Sorry if I asked to many questions but just wanted to make sure I got all the right stuff. Thanks again.

Don't worry about asking questions... it's great that you care enough to ask those questions. Most people don't even think about these things when they're starting out.

That rule certainly is worded in a confusing way. It essentially means this:

If you are wearing a tan/black/MC/whatever vest while on Alpha (green), you need to at least be wearing a green T-shirt underneath and green based headgear. If you're wearing Alpha pants but everything above your waist is Bravo, then you'll be asked to change your top/bottom because that is mixing camo itself.

Airsoftsmith.com carries a crap ton of Pantac for a good price. Great people to buy from as well.

So what do you think about this?

Unless you want a shotgun, just rent one of Smitty's rifles at a game.

I agree with Steevo.  That shotgun is not going to be competative in the field.  Smitty has nice guns for reasonable prices.
You name a game, I've been to it.

If I've banned you, then you have more than likely deserved it.

If I deleted a post it didn't need to be there or I simply didn't like it.

I disagree, the army hates the loada@$ velcro pockets. Once it is worn it, the stuff blends pretty well.

The hundreds of pissed infantrymen I talk to every week would be inclined to disagree. It works well in the mountains of Afghanistan, and is pretty lousy everywhere else.

Well I guess its all in opinion. I think we can all agree that the new multicam stuff and DESPAT is really nice.

I LOLed, +1!

...and yes, renting from Smitty is always a good idea. Having owned most of his rentals at some time, they are as advertised.

And yes I got a vest before I got the gun but its beacuse its the first time I have seen it in stock. Now I am saving up for a gun,and other gear. I am looking at getting one of these 3 guns.
