What do you guys recommend? hop up bucking and nub
There are sooo many company's i see out there in the airsoft industry that say their device works the best or theirs will increase blah blah on your gun.. now i have never really gone any further than a simple flat hop up mod. So my question is who knows of some good hop-up buckings and nubs that have given them a good result.
thanks!
thanks!

Just go with Flat Hop or R-Hop, they are superior to any of the other bucking and nub combos out on the market. Your other option would be the REAPS system from AirsoftGI which is pretty much a drop-in flathop, Or going with the PDI W-Hold. Personally, of all the options I would reccomend Star's Flat Hop.

It also depends on what you are doing. While the flat hop is about as good as it gets, if one wants to examine other options you have to consider what you are doing. For a low FPS gun it's hard to beat a stock TM or a firefly soft bucking and nub if you just want something you can drop right in. For a DMR or high FPS setup, a firefly hard type bucking and nub should provide excellent groupings. One of my personal DMR builds tested this at TT, shooting from the jeep in the airfield to the second story of the tower (no elevation change) at a range of at least 200 ft the groupings were almost perfect, head shots 10/10 times. At three hundred feet a man size target was never a miss, though it was hard to gauge just how close the groupings were at that range. A properly done flat hop is, however, an excellent choice in almost all situations as far as I have heard.

Low FPS

High FPS

I have a couple of each of those in multiple guns, and they work wonderfully. For the price you can't beat it, as you are getting a Firefly style nub and PDW W-hold style bucking. Results are on par with a flat hop mod for the most part, and it only takes minutes to install.

Re: What do you guys recommend? hop up bucking and nub
I will vouch for Star_Folder's R-Hop's, the range on my G36c is now longer and my groupings are tighter than my PTW-equipped compatriots, which in my opinion, is where the bar is set in our area. 230-250 feet body shots with my stock Matrix (read JG) g36c, minus the new inner 6.03 Systema barrel, is now a task that is not only feasible, but easy to accomplish. Granted, I am using .4 gram bb's.
Re: What do you guys recommend? hop up bucking and nub
PTW's hopups are not great by any means, but your point is still very valid. Star_Folder flat hop = Win

You are correct, but in our neck of the woods where Red Cylinders are rampant with Tackleberry's hopup mods, their range is quite spiffy lol
Re: What do you guys recommend? hop up bucking and nub
Ah, indeed. Though he keeps his stuff very hush hush, his mod, it turns out, is pretty much the same as the one I do.

Re: What do you guys recommend? hop up bucking and nub
How do you install what? An AEG hopup bucking and nub, or a PTW hopup mod? If it's the former, what AEG are you putting it in? Best thing to do is look up a vid, words don't work well unless you are already familiar with the terms.
