Drones/ RC Airsoft

Post by scartha » Wed Jul 04, 2012 8:49 pm

I was wondering what the rules were for drones or RC cars with guns on top. are they legal? are they counted as a new soldier or a weapon? how are they taken out? can anyone help, or is this the first anyone has thought of this.

Neither one has even been used before. My take:

Drones: No.
RC cars: No.

My reasoning being that there is no good way to disable either one without damaging it.

Ok, that makes sense. i was looking around Walmart the other day and saw an RC Humvee that had a working airsoft gun on top and thought it was cool, but i didn't know whether they were allowed or not. thanks for letting me know.

There is a way they could be disable without damage. since these cars are "line of sight" operated, taking out the operator would make them useless untill they responed.
