New guy looking for some tips

Post by Razgriz1992 » Sun Apr 22, 2012 1:50 am

Hey guys I am new to the website. My name is Ryan from Prosperity, SC. I wanted to ask for some advice on location. I have a group of friends and we are a martial arts group. However we have gotten into interested playing airsoft possibly. Now I am totally interested into getting in to Airsoft but I don't know about some of them so I want them to experience it. I would rather do that than spend over $100 on a gun then never use it again. So I wanted to ask if any of you know of places close to Prosperity where me and my friends could go and rent out equipment and play airsoft so that they can get a feel for what it like. I have played only once in my life but feel in love with it so if it doesn't work out with them I might be looking to join a team. Thanks for reading my post.

Your only options would be to wait for the next Fort Prince game (they rent out MP5s) or drive to Battlecats in Anderson (they have games every weekend, provide rentals, etc).

I do recommend you get a gun it is alot of fun a I'm sure you will like it. I google mapped where you live and there is a feild in newberry right next to where you are and you live fairly close to columbia were there is a big game going on on may 26th but they do have alot of games there at trigger tyme. Here is the link to all of the feilds http://www.southcarolinaairsoft.com/php ... f=20&t=537
Also welcome to the AOSC.

Thanks for the replies you guys and thanks for the info steevoLS. Here is another question. Where is a good place online or in South Carolina where if me and my buddies wanted to get some quality airsoft starting guns where could we go to get them. Also steevoLS could I come to the Fort Prince game even though I am not on a team?

I highly recommend airsoft gi they have a lot of guns and they have free shipping for guns over 100 also they always have coupons for at least 15% off. I got a jg m16a3 enhanced version you can see my review on it http://www.southcarolinaairsoft.com/php ... =11&t=5625.

If you want to buy guns in SC...

- Airsoft Armory up in Rock Hill
- ACE Hardware down towards Charleston (I forget the actual town, but there is info on here somewhere)

Nearby stores in other states:

- Airsoft Carolina near Asheville NC
- Airsoft Atlanta in Norcross GA

If you want something fast, order it from Airsoft Atlanta and it will probably be delivered the next day. If you want something for the best price possible, order from AirsoftGI and take advantage of the free shipping and coupons.

You do not need to be on a team to attend any AOSC events.
You name a game, I've been to it.

If I've banned you, then you have more than likely deserved it.

If I deleted a post it didn't need to be there or I simply didn't like it.
