G18c Question
G18c Question
Quick question about KSC and TM glock 18's. Basically are KSC mags compatible with TM g18c's?

Re: G18c Question
I do not believe they are compatible, but if I were you I would ask the forum member "Jack Bauer", he knows everything there is to know about GBBs.

Re: G18c Question
Tokyo Marui and KSC GBB mags/parts are not compatible. If you are interested in buying a gas blow back Glock 18C then the Tokyo Marui is the way to go. The gun is overall, more reliable and and accurate (TM has a better hop up) than the KSC/KWA and parts will be easier to find should any problems occur. The Tokyo Marui does come with a plastic slide however it is strong enough to handle green gas. After market parts have always been more availiable with Tokyo Marui gas guns and PGC offers a metal barrel/slide kit for the Glock 18C should you ever want one.
Re: G18c Question
Thanks, I was planning on getting the TM but the reason I asked about the KSC mags was because their was cheap extended mag for KSC G18c that I would've like to get if the mags were compatible.von_lounger wrote: Tokyo Marui and KSC GBB mags/parts are not compatible. Re: G18c Question
I beg to differ, KWA (metal slide, made for GG) NS2 G18cs are the best stock 18cs made, hands down. I have owned two and know of one other, all of which have seen thousands of rounds for years and still work very well without ever needing parts. I am not doubting that TMs have an excellent hopup, but so do the KWAs. From experience, I highly recommend a KWA NS2 G18c with a metal slide. Also, there are plenty of after market parts available for them as well.

Re: G18c Question
I'm sorry, but Tokyo Marui makes a superior and more consistent hop than KSC/KWA does when it comes to gas pistols. An old high school friend of mine's TM G26 shot noticeably straighter than my KSC G19 did after several mags through each using the same ammunition. Similar tests have also been done on other websites concluding that TM hopups are superior to KSC/KWA's (testing each manufacturer's G17). Aside from the hop up, KSC/KWA are fine pistols (I've owned 5 of them). However, and this is why I sold my KSC P226, I'd much rather get a gun knowing I will not be stuck with a sub-par hopup(I can always get a metal slide for it).
PS: The gas system in KSC/KWA Glocks is not S7/NS2. It is, however, what the S7/NS2 system was derived from.
