Greetings all! Just dropping a quick message from over the Great Ocean of Atlantic... Iraq sucks, but not as much as Kuwait. I am definitely missing out on a lot of airsoft, but I look forward to being back on the field soon. Any questions?

I'm based out of Eastover, SC with the National Guard AH-64D unit. We are sitting in a base outside of Baghdad right now...

Thanks man! Should be back by the end of April. I have a two week mid tour on the way so I am going to try and make it to the game.

The fact that I am away from the things I love and my family. The chow halls are less than desirable. People here are constantly bickering and have attitude issues.

I would have much rather gone to the Stan. At least there our pilots would have something to shoot and we would have a set mission.

Kuwait sucked more because of the climate difference. It was at least 10 degrees hotter than it is here in Iraq. The base we were at was literally in the middle of nowhere and was surrounded by sand. We were all shoved into 80 man tents and sleeping on the lovely hard military cots that make your back feel like crap. Sand was constantly in my mouth, eyes, ears, and nose everywhere I went. Also, it just smelt worse than it does in Iraq. I am currently working on getting pictures up for all of you to see. :-)

Ah, that would make it worse I guess. Sounds pretty sucky. Glad you'll be back soon and are safe.
