This helmet is waterproof and shockproof and has been "HALO jump tested 20,000+."
The helmet costs $47 from protec, but that price does not include RIS or velcro for flags. This helmet has left-side
RIS (great for mounting a helmet cam--it won't come off and will be steady and out-of-the-way) and velcro on both sides (for patches, lights etc.). It has a chin strap and nape pad to keep it steady on your head even if you decide to mount NVGs on it, and a strap to keep your goggles in place. It's lined with two-stage foam for great head protection. In airsoft, a lightweight helmet like this is ideal. It'll keep your head from getting banged up in CQB games or when riding in a tank or technical (I know from experience that riding in the back of a pickup truck trying to shoot at people can get pretty intense). This is a great helmet; the only reason I'm selling it is that I accidentally ordered the wrong size, and Protec won't take it back after you get it customized with RIS and velcro.
These helmets are used by soldiers, sailors and law enforcement officers all over the world. Here, a soldier in the U.S. Army is shown wearing the half-shell version.
