DMR Setup

Post by marpat96 » Thu Jan 17, 2013 7:09 am

I'm building a psuedo DMR out of my CM046 AK47. Its range is beyond superb without any barrel or hop up mods or upgrades. Those will come though. For now I want to get better trigger response in the gun. I use lipos and now need to put a motor in the gun. Here are my choices:

1. SHS High Torque
2. Guarder High Torque
3. Lonex? I've heard they make good motors but is there a short type availiable?

I also am trying to put a mosfet in the gun, but.......there is little room for the battery even. Someone help on that please?

(Blowback on this gun was disabled, but can be enabled.)

Guarder or Lonex, and I love Lonex motors. hint hint... And yes, they come in short, they even have medium length for the people with medium motors.

SHS "torque" motors are more or less balance motors. They work for most anything that doesn't require extreme amounts of torque.

I just read that DMR thread. This gun will have no scope on it, it will simply keep its stock parts with barrel and hop up upgrades only. I will change the motor, add a suppressor for looks, and thus have more range than say most of my teamates in my squad. The position I am usually at games is a long range "Fake DMR" haha
