KWA M11

Post by Avenger » Sat Jul 28, 2012 7:29 pm

The M11 is a sexy beast I would love to have. However, I've heard some bad things about automatic GBBs, expecially M11s. This includes the KWA, which Dominum warned me away from. However, I've also heard that it's an excellent weapon. So, what does everyone think? If the right people say the right things, I will probably quench my GBB thirst with one.

Paraphrase: Hey guys, I've heard bad things about gun X. Don't worry what they were, just tell me if you like gun X.

What bad things have you heard?

I've seen a few NS1/KSC Mac 11s develop cracks at the back of the frame, but I've yet to see a NS2/System7 Mac 11s crack in that way. On the other hand, they're not designed to dump mags in full auto. They are meant to be run in semi-auto with the occasional ~5 round burst to get people's heads down.

I dual wielded some, had no issues with them. If you use them right they work right. Like most other things.

Well, I meant the upper and lower seperating(like Dom's).

What you described is how I would use one. Use semi while playing, but maybe dump on someone not calling it or a little suppresive fire.

Iv had one for a couple of years know and I love it. Dom might of had a factory defect cause ive never herd of that. Its probably the only gbb gun iv had that has never leaked a mag. for a sidearm it has pretty good range accurate to about 100ft and it also looks cool I would reccomend getting it I sold my other one and I really regrett it know.

They are a of fun, and I have owned two or three of them over the years. Due to the weight of the mag and the body being ABS, and also the sharp angles in them, receivers fracturing along a few places is in fact pretty common, assuming you do more than leave it in your closet. It doesn't happen to all of them, but both the old and the newer models are prone to it. I usually used mine in semi, so I would actually hit people (and to avoid mag cool down letting out all my gas); but a fast burst was great to scare the crap out of people. They are bulky and get in the way when in holsters though. Bottom line: fun to shoot, accurate and as useful as any other GBB pistol in semi, but bulk and possible durability issues makes traditional pistol designs a better sidearm.
