M4 Suggestions?

I've been waiting for a long time as it is for the VFC M4 E Series to be restocked at ASGI, and it's supposed to another 4 weeks before the order of VFC's from Taiwan(?) is received by Jag Precision, the distributor to ASGI, so it'll be a long time. However, I want to get back into the game without having to borrow from a friend. I need some suggestions for an AEG, preferably an M4 variant, within the price range of $250 - $350 that is either on par with or a better option than the VFC I had decided on. Indeed it does, thank you for that, but is this site trustworthy? I, personally, have never heard of it, but I'm just a bit cautious.
