Here's an absolute, when it comes to barrels, it's the quality and material that are important, not the bore size. Stainless steel is the best material, it's dense, solid, reducing vibrations, and it's very strong, meaning it's very unlikely to be damaged by anything, or bent, like madbull barrels can be. Quality, well, there's a point where the quality doesn't matter much, aka, it's peaked. PDI, Prometheus, Madbull, these companies have some of the highest quality barrels on the market. PDI and Prometheus both are stainless steel and of equivalent quality. Their budget barrels are also very nice, and still rank highly up there.
But, something else I have discovered through all my working with accuracy, the barrel has the smallest effect on the accuracy of a rifle. As long as it's straight and smooth, it's not going to adversely effect your bb that you will see a difference in performance. It comes down to the cost/performance ratio, and for a barrel, it's a pretty high ratio, which isn't good. It's much more worth your money to have a good hop up system, and to have excellent compression.
