mp7 questions

Post by thebutnugget » Sat Mar 10, 2012 2:43 am

i have been a fan of the mp7 for a while now but i really don't want to get a gbb smg , so i found this mp7 AEG http://www.airsplat.com/Items/ERM-UMX-HK-MP7.htm , i am more than happy to upgrade/tinker around with it to make it more of a field friendly gun but just want your guys opinion on if it would be worth it or not .

I had the Well MP7, which I think this is a rebrand of.

I loved the gun, but something screwed up inside. I THINK that the screwing up was my own fault though.

Also, I have mags, batteries and some other accesories that I would let go of cheap.
I do not always accidentally, but when I do, I accidentally the whole thing.

That is indeed a Well R4 (Tokyo Marui MP7 clone). Thats about as good a price as you will find on it, but it will most certainly break before too long. Aftermarket parts are available, but most of the time can only be found in Hong Kong.

^Ditto

If by "field friendly" you mean more than CQBR FPS, don't waste your time. It's not possible. Bear in mind they do not have AEG gearboxes, they are AEPs and have an AEP gearbox with what basically amounts to miniature internal parts. The GB is actually pretty adorable. They can be made to be excellent sidearms/CQBRs however. If you want to do that though, either buy a TM or buy a USED/BROKEN Well and overhaul it with quality aftermarket parts. Don't waste money on a new Well MP7. Up until a little while ago, there were no gears available on the market for them, but SHS makes them now.
