Would you play here?

the TL:WR;
Found a guy has island to play on, wants 100$ a person to play.

I first found this guy doing a random search for airsoft related posts,
craigslist.org

So I sent him a message, to see what was up,
Steven,
Im not an airsoft Gamer but I do think I have the ultimate venue. I
will send you a Lat and Lon as soon as we have made some
agreements. This is a private island in the middle of a 20,000ac
wildlife preserve. It is accessible only by boat. This locality is not
suited for idiots. There are only two tides a day limiting access to
the island and a serious injury would be a medivac.... I would like
$100 per person per day, two day minimum, 10 person minimum. There
are no facilities... its a camp atmosphere. 2 VIP's can stay with me
at the house $200 per. The house is almost all glass and a broken
window would be a nightmare it will be "off limits" so to speak. There
is AC power after dark so batteries can be charged.
Private watercraft is acceptable and there is a public landing across
the river 21mi however its deep water and g'noos and 12' john boats
are not acceptable. Experienced Kyaks maybe but at your own risk. I
can arrange transport on a tour boat for a fee, I can splash the
landing craft for a bigger fee..
I send back for 100$ we'd better be able to pull of some very cool things, show him youtube videos of Irene, and the possibility that we'd only be able to pull this off once a year.
The Island has about 20ac high ground. 5ac hard marsh and 500ac muck.
there are two main islands. Island 1. is pines and dense scrub
palmetto.. If you ever saw the movie G.I. Jane filmed on fripp
Island.. that's it. The main Island, island 2 is some scrub but mostly
mature palmetto 200yr old Cedar, live oak and pines. Ive never been
there but I'm thinking a lot like Vietnam. There's a bridge between the
two Islands as well as hard marsh, perfect for a flank.
This is a jungle setting hard tack camping. The price could be
negotiated however the liability for me and the logistics of getting
everyone over there and babysitting......

It could be yours for 1.7m

Well that's all I know so far, would you be willing to pay to get a on 2 mi boat ride to pay 100$ to play on 20arces?

Sounds amazing, but it seems to be marsh, and unable to use the water. If we had fortifications it would be amazing.

Hold on, is he asking for him to get paid 100$ himself per head? That means that we as players would get nothing... Unless he wants a lower price, or we could have the time to build it up. And I mean a lot of build up.
If I'm about to pay 100$ to play in someone's backyard, it better look professional, island or no island.

Yes, but actually he wants it for each day, so 200$ per weekend,
have to have 10 players minimum,

So basically. We pay this guy 200$ to use is island. Or. We spend that MASSIVE amount of money and build up a local field and have a legit cheap game.

I would be happy to take any MASSIVE amount of money and put it into the Swamp to build it up.

Exactly, lot better than playing on a marsh island right?

The swamp can host games at the most 25$, and after a few games have as much money to spend on itself as this field owner has to spend on himself.

If he was to drop it to 50 for the full weekend, allow us to build and make fortifications, include lunch and kdinner for both, then maybe he would have a bunch of players show up. But 200$ means no one will show up.

Definitely not at that price , and as someone who has spent time in marshland, this sounds like it would not really be all that great unless his marsh is fairly dry.

As I stated to Slick when he was talking about it. This is basically a wooded field on an island. Now, while I will happily pay $200 for a John Lu Lion's Claw event I would not be willing to pay $200 to play in the woods on an Island.

100 a day for a landing craft and use of the islands.... Yeah not gonna happen, maybe if they cut the price as they got more people, but it sounds like this guys trying to get some land tax money on expensive property.

I emailed the guy as well and I have a friend who use to hunt on a pretty big island, if you want a island camping game it might be possible but we should see whats what. Also Slick you should chat with the guys from Daisy they have 140 acres and you could host one hell of a event there as well. All they want for fees is 10bucks free camping over night, restrooms and running water.
