That, is a shell made by Madbull for REAL .12 guage shotguns.

However, I could see some serious potential problems at large events, such as games like they have at SS, with a hundred strangers, or National events, like Fulda, because there would always be someone there who might be dumb enough to keep their airsoft shells and real shells in one place. I read this on another forum, which is a good idea.
The real way to sell this system would have been to make the shells 1/2" shorter than a 2 3/4" shell, and then custom manufacture a drop in barrel for the Remington 870 that includes an inner barrel with a hop-up. This way, it'd be impossible to chamber, much less fire, a real shell. As it stands now, the product idea, at least for the purpose of airsoft skirmishing is a bit dubious.

That said, I really wish there was a way to do this safely. Paying over twice the price for a Tanaka 870 vs. what I paid for my actual 870 borders on ridiculous when one considers the respective manufacturing qualities of the two items.

What do you guys think? I found this while resaerching the Hwasan Bouble Barrel, and I think this is good potential alternative to all the crappy shell ejectors we caurrently have.

So, what say you AOSC?

interesting, but I very much agree with the possible dangers of this. Not to mention that taking a real gun onto an airsoft field is highly dangerous and isn't allowed at AOSC events as far as I know.

Besides that, it's kinda cool. I see it more of a *practice shooting your real shotgun* kinda thing than using it to skirmish.

I think that it would be fair for the game hosts/Admins/Field owners/Bigwigs to let people that that they know personally and trust use something like this, but not any first timer or newbie..

aside from the risk of someone leaving real shells in their 12ga (which if there's a risk of that, they should have to wear a safety helmet 24/7 and shouldn't be allowed to own a firearm) I think it's bad ass and need to get some of those for messing around in the backyard (stray animals and the like).

There's no training advantage to that shell, as it in no way mimics the recoil and therefore builds no muscle memory for target acquisition of followup shots. The downside in reality is that they only hold 5 BB's and are co2 powered which means after I empty my 6+1 magazine tube, I'm running around looking for my expensive madbull shells and spending time reloading them. If they were greengas/propane powered and held say 10 BB's, then it'd be a different story

No place on the field, but certainly a place in the backyard (as Sev said).

My idea was to use these in asawed off break barrel. Problems: your sawed off airsoft gun is actually an illegal firearm
