i likr the 416 and it's not so freaking generic. i know for a fact that the m4 is a good gun since by buddy has one. i found the m4 for 130 and the 416 for 170. which one should i get?

They're both chiclones, and they're both from the same company. Get whichever one you want, though if you're going for a chiclone 416 I'd rather get a DBoys or AGM (metal body).

The only difference between the two is the shape/look of the externals. That's purely personal preference.

On that note, there are two VFC 416s for sale on the NC forums for a very competitive price. You could probably do $175.

i'm looking for a cheap version of a 416. i could care less if they're clones because in around 5 months of having them the only "clone" part it will have left are some screws and maybe some wires and the body. i'm a bigtime modder. my computer is retarded and won't let me veiw the ncairsoft page. i don't really like the m4. i think it's too generic. anyway, my dad wants me to have something compativle with m4 parts and mags so i don't have to look everywhere for parts. thanks steevo, i'll look into those brands.

NC Airsoft page: VFC 416 DX and VFC 416, each for $200 OBO, that is to say $175ish. You are being retarded if you don't jump all over that. THere is absolutely no comparison between a VFC 416 and one of the chiclones. It wouldn't NEED to have anything replaced.

By "look everywhere for parts" are you referring to internals or externals? Because the vast majority of guns are very easy to find internal parts for...

Stephen is right about that BTW.

read my sig
dom, yes i am referring to the internals. i am also referring to externals. it's a pain in the butt to find crap for my mps and it should be easier to find m4 parts

Look man, get the VFC. I would buy it if I had the cash at that price.

If he deliberately chose JG, he probably doesn't have the biggest budget for airsoft.

Specter, finding internals for an MP5 is just as easy as for an M4...

i don't have the biggest budget for airsoft and my dad don't trust anything but jg and echo1. if i could, it would already be in my collection. it's hard to find for example a ris rail system for my mp5sd. i plan on getting the 3k bb mp5 drum mag i found along with a m203 and an acog.

Then your dad doesn't know shipoopy about airsoft guns... he should probably do a little reading before he decides he knows anything.
