What is the best MP5 or G36 I can get, with priorities being durability, performance, price. Thanks for any advice!

Dont get an airsoft mp5. Unfortunately, the MP5 mags, because they are small, dont feed well at high rates of fire.
The best bang for the buck would be the JG G36C.

Alright, thanks. That is one of the guns I was considering, I hope I can get it before Blackwater 2.

The mp5 spring in the mag is the main cause. Its not a strong enough spring to feed reliably at high rps. Thats what I meant lol. Im tired....

Can't you either A:Take apart the mag and stretch the spring, or B: Buy better mags?

I have never had any problems with my MP5 mags feeding with either of my two MP5's I have owned and both were shooting above 25 rps and all i was using were MAG brand midcaps
the only complant I have with MAG brand mids is that if you over fill them by accident they will split at the top

I have a JG G36c and it runs beautifully! I'm not sure what number owner I am but i haven't had any problems with it at all, as well you can pick up a decent mag well converter from Dom so that all of your M4/M16 mags will work with it just fine.

As a Gun smith I though I had to share My opinion I own Both A Echo1 PDW MP5K and a JG G36C. Both are great guns. The MP5K has a much higher fire rate the the G36C and I have never had a problem with in the year I have owned it. The Hop up on it is either really good or its a one in a million gun cause I shoot at least 50 with less then a 5 inch spread. Thats really really good for a CQB rated weapon. Now I have only every had one of these pass through my shop. The Problem it had was a split gear box but that was because the last guy decided to put a over powered spring in it. Now the G36C inst' bad, I actually like it. Its great from planing field then CQB real quick. It has a nice FPS mine is shooting around 360ish. I have had it lock up on me once before in a game but I don't really know why cause as soon as I got off the field it started to shoot again. Now for some reason I see this gun a lot in my shop and they are JGs, and they all have hop up problems. It seems that the Hop ups are not that great or kids are not caring for them. What ever be the cause of their problems I'm gone have to say My Echo1 MP5K is better then My JG G36C.

I would say consider price as well but there isn't much of a price difference. About $20 actually. On Airsoft GI its about $125 for a JG G36c while it's $145 for the Echo 1 Mp5. As I said not a real big difference, but that extra $20 might let you squeeze an extra mag in to the party. Ultimately it comes down to which ever you would feel more comfortable with. Happy shopping!

My 200FPS glock shoots tighter groups than that.

He never asked about JG or Echo 1 those are simply the 2 that Zoobie talked about. He simply asked what the best MP5 or G36 was.

I wouldn't call a 5 inch spread at 50 ft that great.
