I'm updating PHPBB to the latest version, so you will not have the main page chat for a little while.

Ah, so this explains the short period of time that I couldn't get on this morning...

The older AJAX chat is back now. I need to tweak the CSS, but it works.

We have a chat on the main page? That is an update to me.

Right now it's only hooked up to the "Prosilver" and "Subsilver" themes, but we've had a shoutbox/chatbox for a year or two.

hmmm, I'm not so sure I like this new chat...

AJAX chatrooms were being an unnecessary drag on our server. I've switched us over to an embedded QuakeNet IRC room. Poof, no lag and no heavy load on the AOSC server itself.

In view of the AJAX chatroom being switched it has been re-invented as Team AJAX. Look for a strong show of force at Fulda Gap...

Id like to complain that because the chat server has been moved to a thir party outside of the AOSC website, Prism (school security) sees the new chat system as a threat, ending my ability to chat during my boring Webpage class and study hall.
