lookin for some people for a team.

just a few people maybe 5. no practice or anything. just meet at the game and fight together. nothing much. i can't make it to very many games so i need a second in command that is at alot of games. it's not all set in stone but i really want it to happen. :P

Starting a team is like being a 'snipar' it's one of the first things noobs try to do. However, few people ever stop to consider the fact that the ONLY two models ever used to make a succesful and lasting team in this state are the following:

1) A group of people who are already good friends prior to starting to play airsoft start to play the sport at the same time, and since they are already good friends make a team of themselves.

2) A person or small number of experienced players start recruiting people at games after they have played with them multiple times and form a team from people they know through actual game experience.

Teams that form under any other circumstances never really go anywhere. What you and others should take away from this is that if you did not start playing this sport with a group of friends, then the only way you should even consider starting a team is by recruiting people that you have played with in person at games, NOT over the internet by virtue of what people tell you they think they know or how they think they will play when they get around to showing up to a game.

i was thinking about starting a team. i just wanted to see if anyone was interested. if they were i would try to meet them at blackwater or something. i know 2 other ppl that would probabally join. coreyu ans that undatedsnail. i have another buddy that has a really nice gun but he is too in to building an underground jungle dome or something. he says that games like tdc and other ones are boring. he's an epic noob. anyway i just wanted to see if anyone wanted to be on a team is all.

i ain't to picky about who joins or what kind of guns they have. if they can lay down supressing fire then they're ok for my team. i have 2 friends that have been to tdc and the airfarm game on may 28th. they're ok. i have been to op. banshee, tdc, redfox feb 19, and the airfarm game march 28th. i got a mac 11 and an mp5 so i think i'll be good. all i really need is a sniper and a guy with a high rof on his gun and a crap-load of hicaps. that's all i need.

Dom has said it and it has been covered many times on here. It is much easier to join a team that is established or if you are starting one you already have a group of people you play with and it goes from there. We have so many "teams" with 2-4 people on them.

it's more of a squad. team is a much more generic term. it's also easier to type team.
