wellfire

Just wandering if wellfire is a brand that I can trust.
I saw this and I was thinking about getting it in a few months except I have not heard much about wellfire. I plan on putting a tight bore, new piston.etc., hop up, and probably keep the stock spring for a month or two if it shoots high enough.

Chippy, you are all over the place on airsoft guns aren't ya?  Nothing wrong with that.  I can't say anything about this brand, EXCEPT that I have never heard of the brand, and after looking around, most of what I consider "reputable" airsoft dealers don't have any Wellfire guns at all.  Airsoft Megastore carries it, and with all of this considered, makes me wary of the brand.

The short of it, I don't know, but my gut says no.  Hopefully someone with some hands on experience will post up something a little more definite.

Wellfire = Well... not too much different than a UTG in quality.

Bear this in mind: any low end springer that comes shooting over 500 won't be shooting for very long.

If I am not mistaken, this is the same rifle Crazy bought 3 years ago.It's basically a UTG L96 with a different body. Trigger box is plastic, and broke after a few hundred rounds.

Yeah cause I have only noticed them 'til today so I wasn't so sure. Abput them. but I'm just going to stick with the echo1 asr and put upgrades into it; smokes going to guide me through a trigged mod and such.
