Eyewear

We all know good eyewear is a must. I wanted to know what everyone uses. I know fog is always an issue that could even ruin a good day of airsoft. Everywhere I look I see another player upset that his/her goggles fogged up during a game and had to stop playing. I am in the pursuit of the perfect pair of goggles. Having to wear glasses adds to this challenge
I was running some of these...

with one of these attached...

It works great with fog and with glasses, but I keep being told people can see me with those big, white goggles.
Now I move on to my latest eyewear purchase...

Except I take off the mask... These blend in more, but they are huge. They also leave one inch gaps on my temples. The fan only works every now and then even though though they are new.
I am now giving in and getting a pair of WileyX prescription.

Matte black with Smoke Green lenses with Double Scratch.
Post up what you use for Eye protection so that new and old players can get ideas!

I wear these ESS sand goggles.

They are amazing goggles all told. I love them mainly because they are designed to be worn in conjunction with a MICH 2000 helmet, but also because of how very comfortable they are. Also, they never fog (even without anti-fog spray or a fan), except at night, when they fog very badly.
Overall, unless you play at night very much, I would 100% recommend these to anyone. They meet the full-seal requirements of all fields, but are still milsim... if you care about that kind of thing...

I wear the mesh mask at this link. I wear prescription glasses and don't want broken teeth so this works for me.

Sam,
Where did you get your goggles? Were they expensive?

I wear the OD version of the fan mask, Esteban. My first one was a lemon (bad fan) but the warrantly replacement works fine. It keeps the fog out in all but the worst humidity; in the event that it is fogging, I just grab the nearest mesh mask available.

Hrm. I'd been using shooter's glasses, myself, as the full-seal-goggles are a pain in the neck for a profuse sweater like me. I might invest in mesh goggles down the road... I've got to be honest, though. My first experience with a mesh mask left me wanting...

I found mine for $10 at a gunshow in Columbia, but they cost about $90 online. ---->

I use a full face mask with mesh but it doesnt have that rough, scratchy padding like paintball masks.

I would have to back up ironchef on the ess turbofan goggles. They are truly awesome, and suppose to be able to withstand some serious impact. I have owned mine for quite sometime and never had but one fogging issue, and it was at night and i was drenched in sweat and it was foggy outside that night as well. For cqb i wear a proto paintball full facemask that has a fan as well, but it does get in the way of sighting with your iorn sights, and needed a little custom work

the best for fogging should be ESS Profile Turbofan goggles. they have a circulation fan built in. Very expensive though. I use regular ESS Profiles with two G&G Turbo fans mounted on them and revision anti-fog spray. I rarely have issues with fog.
