Drop in gearboxes

Post by Villid » Thu Sep 30, 2010 7:32 pm

Im thinking of getting a drop in gear box for my g&g m4.  im looking for on with around an m110-120 spring.  Any suggestions?  Im just getting ideas now, so price is irrelevant.  Also wondering if would be cheaper to piece one together myself.  any expertise with these is appreciated

Why do you want to replace the G&G internals?

I'd recommend having Dom build a gearbox for you.

A Systema drop in would be the best choice, but since you only want to go with an M110 or M120, you would do fine with a G&P (less than half the price of the Systema).

I have a matrix gear box in one of my guns I love it. No problems at all with it. I don't know what a G&P gearbox cost but the matrix ones are $110.

Drop in an M120 in the G&G gearbox for field use, and I will build you a CQBR drop in (under 340 FPS) for $95 with a three month warranty (as long as you don't use a ridiculous battery in it). Can't beat that.
