You guys are being a great help as I have no idea about this stuff. So ok here is what I am thinking now lol.

Gun:http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=5291 (

Vest:http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=7093

Hydro Carrier:http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=2698

oh and goggles cause some one said it:http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=3262

then a battery, charger, mags, some pouches, bb's(what size and kind is best?), and clothes(ACU color ok?)

So is this a good starter pack.

The CA X Series rifles are excellent, good choice.

The gear is solid aswell, except for one thing... ACU. Stay the heck away from it! If I were you, I'd buy the gear in Coyote Brown instead, and then buy green and tan camo. Coyote Brown matches just about everything, whereas ACU only matches ACU and generally looks like crap.

Well damn that sucks. Everything I have in mind is in ACU and I can only find Black and ACU with some of it and i dont want to look like crap lol.

Checkout airsoftsmith.com for different camo.  I believe they sell, Multicam(The best all around camo, MARPAT, Desert MARPAT, and DCU.

I know finding things in CB is harder than finding them in ACU, but it is worth it in the long wrong. If there's one thing I regret from my airsofting career, it's all the money I spent on black gear early on.

Keep in mind Coyote Brown gear DOES match ACU clothing, and it looks pretty good together.

After numerous loadouts with differnt colored gear I run Coyote Brown with both my tan and green loadouts now.  I've bot a Pantac RRV and AK Chest rig and love both of them.  I would def recommend getting quality equipment right off the bat, it will save you money in the long run. ;)

QFT on all points made.  I love my Pantac RRV.  Good choice on the eyepro too.  Revision is the new standard issue for the US Army.  We got Sawfly's (shooting glasses) which were very nice.

If you haven't looked already, a good pair of tan boots matches just about anything.

I'll be the odd man out to say that ACU is good looking. I own a chest rig that works well with the other camos except DCUs. If you like ACU be ready to hear these guys talk bad and to be sticking out during games. ACU looks white in the sun, pretty easy to see. But other than that, good choice on gear and gun.

ACU sticks out everywhere there is green, which is all over down here.

Saying ACU is a good investment for anything other than an Army impression is like saying that... well, insert some negative analogy here.

Seriously, don't waste your money. Even the Army hates the stuff.

Pantac in my opinion is some of the best gear out there without going to gucci gear. I owned a Wasatch replica from them, and it compared very well to my real deal HSGI wasatch, while being a good 100 bones cheaper. They use cordura on 99% of their vests. Ive owned three pantac vests and been very happy with them all. If you can afford it, cant go wrong with HSGI though. Loved my Wasatch and now my Warlord.
