The best accessible camo for the woods is still real-tree . Guys can say what they want, but everyone knows that it's true.

^ In my observation, most RealTree works best in the fall/winter when most of the green has been eliminated from the environment. Once you hit spring and summer, it sticks out quite a bit (unless you're standing straight up against a tree).

I agree with what Steevo said. RealTree is designed for fall/winter, becasue that's when most hunting seasons are. The only thing that keeps me from using it is that it just isn't tacicool

RealTree is surprisingly effective, but i couldn't live with myself if I had to wear it. Tiger Stripe all the way!

BDU's are much better in the woods than Tiger Stripe as Steevo can attest to when 2 years ago at Fulda I was wearing Tiger Stripe and he was wearing BDU's and the BDU blended in much better than the Tiger the rest of the team was wearing. The Tiger Stripe that most people order online is just too bright. Older faded John Wayne style Tiger works better than the new stuff too.

My favorite is faded washed out bdu's. Once they get worn they work great. And for those who know me, I thought about requiring realtree as our team camo just to nag you .

Ah, that was a story if ever there was one! There we were, back behind NATO lines. It had been a long day. My comrade Gamblervich had slain many capitalist pigs with his RPK, and I had slain many additional pigs with my rifle. Then, like bear surprised by giant pig, we fall back into woods! Capitalist pig everywhere! Russian backup bear nowhere! Gamblervich take cover, I take cover. Capitalist pigs advance on position, see Gamblervich wearing camo of stripes of tiger, shoot Gamblervich many time. I clutch rifle in ditch full of leaves, hope I can survive. Capitalist pig walk 6" from hand, not see me.

And that's why you wear woodland instead of tigerstripe!

when you say john wayne style tiger stripes are you refering to him wearing it in the movie The Green Beret
