Either way good news for us, the Senator was made a fool by the head chairman lady.

‎50 more listens and we pass 2000 - wow...we do better when we are off the air, hehe. Airsoft Corps will be back on this Sat @5 central...Hathcock may be flying solo. If Bushman is on, he can talk about his latest road block during the healing process...you won't believe it! Copper will most likely still be unavailable due to prior commitments. Do plan to call in and give Mike a hard time :-) Get to the show site here http://tobtr.com/s/2014713 and the call in number during the show is (424) 243-9634 or Skype in with your comp - it's free!

If you know of a sweet place to play, you have an op going, you wanna say "get well" to Bushman, talk about your team, or whatever just call us. This show is all about you! We want to hear about your airsoft adventures. We want to help you with your gun tech issues. We want to further the sport! Let's talk airsoft!

Happy Birthday, America (live call in show)

Post by AirsoftCorps » Fri Jul 01, 2011 10:56 am

This show we celebrate the founding of our great nation. We honor our military fighting men and women who give, so unselfishly, of themselves in order to serve this country. We also remember those that have given all for us to enjoy the freedom we possess. It is their service and sacrifice that we honor each time we step onto the MilSim battlefield.

Airsoft Corps discusses topics such as airsoft weaponry, events, field craft, and tactics. Hosted by Airsoft Outlaws 1/21 Battalion Executive Officer Aaron Howard (Copper), former 82nd Airborne Paratrooper Mike Arnold ... (Hathcock), and former Army Special Forces sniper Shane Vanaman (Bushman).

Call in and talk with us at (424) 243-9634. Say “hi” to someone deployed, tell us about someone you wish to honor, say thanks to our troops, or tell us how proud you are to be an American.

Also, we need to talk about the latest from SB798 - check out this story http://www.nssf.org/share/blastLinks/CA-ActionAlert.htm

This is a very special show, and I hope you can join us at 5pm central time Saturday, 2 July 2011. Show page short link here: http://tobtr.com/s/2048621

Tactical MilSim Magazine interview

Post by AirsoftCorps » Mon Jul 11, 2011 2:41 pm

If you haven't already done so, check out the archive show from 9 July 2011. We had Mark Anderson, Executive Officer of Tactical MilSim Magazine on the show. This was, of course, after about 3 min of us trying to get the flippin' microphone situation worked out...lol. I guess we should have gotten our Skype headsets checked out and working PRIOR to the show...hmmmmm. Seems obvious...well, not for us, I guess - hehe.

Here is the link to the current archived show: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/airsoftcor ... of-airsoft

During this show we talk about Project X (not Wolverine, hehe), a new game type we tried locally called POW, and shootmyash.com and their new electronic targets featured at this year's Shot Show. Instructions for the POW game are listed in the comments section at the bottom of the show page.

23 July 2011 - Show #12 - We "may" have a call from the shootmyash.com folks...we'll see (don't hold your breath, though). I (Copper) will be on vacation, but Hathcock and our local fellas (the Airsoft Outlaws, NeaAirsoft, and some of the ARA boys) will be having themselves a nice trigger day at my house while I am out (I hope they don't trash the place). Hathcock may be trying to handle the show alone. I am going to try to make it on air, but can't be sure. If he could get lots of calls during the show it would help him out. Do you know how hard it is to sit and talk to yourself for over an hour? Try it...it's weird. It starts to sound like a news report...Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

So here's your chance to call and tell us about your airsoft community. Just be prepared to be on the phone a while, hehe...he will probably want to keep talking to have company - lol. I am going to try to get Bushman's spotter on there with him to fill in for me. Bushman has been having a lot of issues with pain lately. For those that don't know, he and his spotter Frank M24 were in a hit and run accident involving a big rig truck. They were on their way to OK Invasion 6 this year. Bushman was set to take a world record shot in 6mm plastic projectiles in several categories. His neck was broken in 7 places, but he still plans to reschedule the shot attempt. We have more info in the OK Invasion AAR show from the archives on the show page, if you are interested in the details. be praying for their continued healing, please. And I would not mind a little prayer for a safe trip, myself.

If Hathcock ends up with more calls than he can get to (a nice problem to have - we love callers), just call back next week. Be sure and listen for the option to press to speak to the host, otherwise you just sit there hearing the show on the phone, but you never get into the queue.

Man, thanks for asking! They are still a little sore, but they actually pulled the trigger at the last local trigger day. They didn't run around and all that, but they did play a little. Very cool! Frank actually got comfortable in one of our structures with his sniper rifle and held off quite a large force alone for about 15 minutes. Roughneck, one of our local players with combat experience, managed to work around the structure and got inside for a safety kill. It was pretty epic. Of course Frank was plenty sore from working that springer sniper rifle so much, hehe.

Congrats Steve from Black Ops Elite in UT, and Geo from MilSimEvent in OK/MO (he's on the state line, hehe)!!!

We have more swag to give away. Keep listening. If you’ve got an event or op you wanna talk about, give ua a call...we live for this stuff! Give us the skinny on what you have going, or give us the AAR for an op you went to. Tell us about a new game type you tried and worked well, or maybe it flopped.

I have said it before, this show is all about YOU - it is not about us...we want to provide a way for everyone to pimp their ops and talk with airsofters from all over - right there live on the air!!! How flippin' cool is that?!!! http://www.blogtalkradio.com/airsoftcorps

Don't forget - when you call the show for the giveaway, be sure to call in ahead to get in line, but do not press 1 until we say it's time or you get dropped. If you listen online, there is a slight delay...so you need to call and listen on the phone to hear exactly when we say "go." Option 1 is to speak to the host, and the first one to hit 1 gets put in the queue first...depending on the number caller we are looking for, you will have to try a little strategy to get the right spot in line. GOOD LUCK!!!
